Lucky has perfect conformation and exceptional coverage. His fleece is lustrous and soft with amazing staple length. His 2003 histogram was AFD 19.3, SD 3.0, CV 15.4, 0.4>30. Lucky has ALL colour in his background so we’re hoping he throws colour when bred to colour. We took Lucky to two shows in 2003 and he did great! At Alpacafest (2003) he placed 3rd in a huge class of 20 of the best males in Canada. His fleece weight was a remarkable 4.1lbs, blanket only! At the Chilliwack Exhibition (2003), he placed 1st in his class. Lucky placed 2nd out of 15 in conformation at Alpacafest 2004 in Red Deer and got 1st in his class for the second year in a row at the 2004 Cilliwack Exhibition. Lucky also had the highest fleece score in the show at 84.5. And besides all this, Lucky also has a nice disposition.

We had to think long and hard about selling this female! This is the first cria out of Sumaq Valley’s Deelight. Deelight has won Grand Champion 4 times (including in 2005 at 3 years of age) in fleece shows as well as Judge’s Choice Fleece in 2004, Reserve Grand Champion Female twice in 2004 , and numerous other 1st place wins! She has incredible fibre especially for a coloured animal. The character and density are amazing so we couldn’t wait to see what she would produce for us! We bred Deelight to NGG Lional, a Bueno son. Deelilah has perfect conformation like her mom and Lional and a fleece that should be very competitive in the ring. UPDATE: Deelilah has done very well in the showring already this year. At Pacific Coast, she won her class, won Grand Champion Coloured Female and then Reserve Champion Female! At the 2006 CNASF, Deelilah was 3rd.
