Crystal has one of the best dispositions on our farm, even when bred! We bought Crystal just after she was weaned and she went on to win a bunch of ribbons for us including Reserve Champion and Reserve Best of Age in 2003. She is an awesome female!

Crystal is an excellent producer and catches in one breeding every year. Her first son (a Nemo cria) is working as a stud in California. Her next son sired by D'Arcy was absolutely phenomenal and he is also now in California, owned by Champion Alpacas. Her third son, sired by William, also has a very fine, well defined, high amplitude, crimpy fleece (was chosen for the Best Hand class at the 2008 CNASF) and is now owned by SA-SS-Y Acres.

In 2008, Crystal gave us another William son named Star Gazer.  He is a very correct, nice looking male as well with a very fine fleece.

Finally, in 2009, Crystal gave us a girl named Sumaq Valley's Pearl and she looks great!  Pearl's sire is IAOC Accoyo Artic's Peruvian Pacman, a CPeruvian Accoyo Arctic son (Ultima dam).  We have rebred Crystal to our dark brown male, Tahitian King, for an August 2010 cria!

Daisy has got to be one of the most solid, well covered William offspring we have had on our farm to date.  She has a great staple length with very good density and fineness!

Daisy's dam is a fantastic looking female as well with Jolimont Peruvian Viracocha and Pperuvian Javier in her pedigree.  She is also the dam of Sumaq Valley's D'arcia (light fawn) who was a Reserve Champion and is now throwing beautiful coloured cria!

Daisy attended her second show in September 2009.  She won her tough class of whites and went on to win Best in Show!  She was also one of three William offspring that went into the ring to help William win Get of Sire!

We will be showing Daisy a couple more times before we breed her to either Impressario or Kung Pao next summer.

We were surprised when D'arcia was born - a fawn out of two white parents! She had her first cria in 2007 sired by NGG Lionel and he was a medium brown, also darker than both his sire and dam!

D'arcia had a beautiful beige Peruvian Bonanza son, Cartwright, in 2008.  He is perfect with a super curly fleece!

D'arcia is square and solid boned just like her dam. Her coverage is exceptional and her fibre has great character. At her first show, she won Reserve Champion behind another female from our farm.

Sparky is a very nice full Peruvian female with a very dense fleece, tight, high frequency crimp, and super fineness.  We also purchsed Sparky's full sister Kelowna's Salsa Sass who was a Grand Champion.  Sparky's dam, Jolimont Peruvian T'ika is also the dam of Kelowna's Sundance Kid who has produced many champions himself.

We have had four offspring out of Sparky so far.  Her first, SVA William's Sonata, is in the US, she had a white son sired by Zorro, and in 2007, she had a very cute female Sumaq Valley's White Frosting, sired by White Frost, a Ppperuvian Augosto son in 2007.  In 2008, she had her best cria to date - a William daughter with amazing density and tight, bundled crimpy fleece who we named Sparkle.

Sparky had a little girl named Ember sired by IAOC Accoyo Arctic's Peruvian Pacman, a CPeruvian Accoyo Arctic son (Ultima dam) in August 2009.  We rebred Sparky to William for an August 2010 cria.

Tenderheart is a very nice female, just like her dam.  She is fine with good density and good character.

Tenderheart was a fall cria so we waited until the spring of 2008 to breed her for the first time.  She has been bred to Jolimont Peruvian Sweet William for an April 2009 cria.

Tenderheart had a fantastic William son named Pursuit in 2009.

We repeated the breeding for 2010 hoping for a girl, and that is exactly what we got!  Tenderheart's 2010 William daughter has been named Sweetheart and her fleece looks fantastic!

We will be rebreeding Tenderheart to Kung Pao for an April 2011 cria.

We were so happy and surprised to get such a dark female sired by Lional (fawn) and Amulet (medium brown).  Trinket is a beautiful dark brown and is very typey and square with good coverage.  She has a very soft handling fleece for such a dark animal.

Amulet had her first cria in 2007, Sumaq Valley's Keepsake who is a medium brown Peruvian Bonanza daughter.  She is almost a carbon copy of her dam and we look forward to breeding her.

In 2008, Trinket had a super cute, fawn Neville Lake's Pokee (a Victor's Vaccoyo son) son we named Ambush.  His fleece looks great so far!

In 2009, Trinket had a very nice little fawn female sired by RGA Miguel, a Snowmass Legacy's Golden Boy son.  Trinket will be rebred to William for a July 2010 cria.

White Frosting is a super cute female with great leg and head coverage.  She had very nice character to her fleece as a cria but it kept growing and growing and got quite floppy by shearing in 2008.  Even as a late August cria, she had well over 6" when we sheared her on April 24th, 2008!  Her conformation is perfect however, and her second year fleece should be even better than her first year fleece.

We have now bred White Frosting to our new white male, Impressario, for a July 2010 cria.
