Sweet Streak's dam, Kelown'a Deja Vu el Viracocha, is a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo female. Deja Vu's other cria include Sumaq Valley's Javiera (who we have retained in our herd), SVA William's Reflection, Sumaq Valley's Nightingale (1st in a class of 14 at the CNASF), and SVA William's Sweet Dreams. Deja Vu has a tiny fawn spot on her hip but has never thrown the spot until this year. Sweet Streak has a tiny spot on the left side of her blanket. All of Deja Vu's offspring have shown well and have had very strong conformation and nice, fine fleeces. Deja Vu herself had a 1st fleece with a 16 micron and was under 20 until three years of age. As with Deja Vu's other two William offspring, Sweet Streak's fleece is improving with age. She has amazing lustre and softness to her fleece and was a money winner at her first show, the 2009 CNASF! Sweet Streak was bred once at the beginning of September and we think she caught. She had been sitting at the fence for months so we bred her to our dark brown male, Tahitian King. We are hoping that spot means she will throw colour! Sweet Streak and Sweet 'n Sassy will be the only two William daughters being offered for sale until 2011! to Janet Ogilvie, ON |
