SVA Fabio's Arsenal

Arsenal was the Supreme Champion suri at Farm Fair 2005, and SSA SunSet Danielle was 2nd.

We had many winners at the 2005 Chilliwack Exhibition!

Sumaq Valley's Nutrageous won her class, won Best of Age, and Grand Champion Female. Sumaq Valley's Deeva was 2nd behind Nutrageous and then won Reserve Best of Age and Reserve Champion Female. Sumaq Valley's Philias Fogg won his class and then won Best of Age. Kelowna's Salsa Sass won her class, and Aztec Adrenalin placed 2nd in his class and then won Reserve Best of Age.

The first annual IPE Alpaca Show was held September 4, 2005.

All our alpacas did well! In the coloured juvenile class (female), Sumaq Valley's Deeva was 1st, Sumaq Valley's Nutrageous 2nd, and Sumaq Valley's Amakha was 3rd! In the white juvenile female class, Kelowna's Salsa Sass was 2nd. In the coloured male class, Aztec Adrenalin was 1st in a class of 8 and Sumaq Valley's Masked Bandit was 3rd.

Kelowna's Salsa Sass placed 1st in her class and went on to win Best of Age and Grand Champion Female Huacaya!

Sumaq Valley's Deelight won her class at the 2005 CABA Fleece Show and Grand Champion Coloured Huacaya Fleece for the 3rd year in a row!
Other alpacas that did well at Alpacafest 2005 include Sumaq Valley's Nutrageous - 2nd, Sumaq Valley's Deeva - 3rd, and Sumaq Valley's Amakha - 5th.

In the 2005 CABA Fleece show, Nutrageous placed 2nd in a huge fawn class, and SVA Fabio's Little Pixie was 2nd in the suri class.

At the 2005 Pacific Coast Alpaca Show Sumaq Valley's Amakha placed 1st, Kelowna's Salsa Sass placed 3rd, and Sumaq Valley's Nutrageous was 4th.

All but one of our alpacas won money for us at the 2005 CNASF. Sumaq Valley's Nutrageous placed 3rd and Sumaq Valley's Chaos was 3rd as well.

At the 2004 International A.L.P.A.C.A. Odyseey Show in Edmonton, Sumaq Valley's Firestorm placed 3rd in a class of 10 and SVA Fabio's Sunbeam placed 4th in a class of 10 white suris.

Adrenalin won his class and then went on to win Reserve Champion at the 2004 Chilliwack Exhibition.

Sumaq Valley's Deelight

Deelight placed 1st in her class in the CABA National Fleece Show and 1st in her class in the Alpacafest Composite Show. She won Champion Coloured Huacaya Fleece and Judge's Choice Fleece in the Fleece Show. Deelight also won Best of Age and Reserve Champion Female Huacaya in the Alpacafest Composite Show.

Other fleece winners in the CABA Alpacafest 2004 Fleece Show were SVA Fabio's Sunbeam - 1st, SVA Fabio's Little Pixie - 2nd, E'clipse - 3rd, OACL Ashton - 3rd.

SVA Fabio's Sunbeam

Sunbeam placed 1st in her class at the 2004 Canadian National Alpaca Futurity. She then went on to win Supreme Suri. Sunbeam's half sister SVA Fabio's Little Pixie, placed 2nd, behind her sister. Both of these fantastic girls are out of our own, Peruvian Fabio.

We picked up a couple of ribbons at the 2004 Pacific Coast Show in Nanaimo. Sumaq Valley's Javiera placed 4th in a tough class of 12 juvenile white females, and Sumaq Valley's Deelight received a 2nd place ribbon. In addition, Adrenalin won Best Head, male!
This fleece belongs to Sumaq Valley's Deelight. Two fleece shows, two Grand Champion wins. Her first win was at Alpacafest 2003: 1st in her class and Grand Champion Huacaya Fleece with a score matching that of the Grand Champion White Huacaya Fleece. Her second Grand Champion title was won at the SABN Agripaca 2003 Fleece Competition. There, she placed 1st in her class and went on to win Grand Chamion Fawn Huacaya. Both of these shows had very large classes.

After winning 9 ribbons at Alpacafest our local newspapers, The Daily Courier and The Capital News, both featured articles on our farm. The local cable station, Shaw Cable also came out and did a 10 minute piece on our farm which they have continued to air, periodically, since July 2003.

RFA Crystal Star

Crystal placed 2nd in her class at Alpacafest 2003. She then went on to win Reserve Best of Age and Reserve Champion, Female Composite Huacaya.

Kelowna's Deja Vu El Viracocha

Deja Vu is our finest fleeced, full Peruvian, double registered female. She is a multiple ribbon winner including two 1st place fleece ribbons and as shown here, 2nd place at the Canadian National Sale and Futurity, March 2002.

Crystal placed 4th out of a class of 16 at the Canadian National Alpaca Sale and Futurity against some of the best juvenile females in Canada.
